Linux can't do DX10. It is useless to gamers.
You mean Direct X 10, why would a gamer need it. There's OpenGL and you can even run DirectX apps using WINE. Search the web before you comment.

Why would a gamer need it? Well gamer always want the best technical advancement there is, it is always good to have that extra bit of realism-ness and that extra pixel.
But still gaming is not the strongest point in using Linux, it's about freedom. And about the bad things in Windows Vista, so don't pull this discussion out of the topic.
NOT pulling things out of topic. Linux simply can't do what Microsoft Windows can do, only emulate.
The topic is the Bad things about Vista, and for gaming Windows can't even emulate Linux games.
Ahh GCC is not a game and it runs on Windows.
I mean games compiled for Linux won't run on Windows it's how things work in native environments, and mind you WINE is NOT an EMULATOR (the names says it all). We are saying about the bad things about DRM and vista in here, I gave you my proof, straight from the Windows site. So you can shut up for now.
I have already disproven it, but no you have to delete it and hide the truth.
It is not me who shall shut up but those who hides the reality and spread the FUD.
I deleted two posts which contained some obscure content, and they were not even posted by you.
Then what do you say about the microsoft help page that I pointed to in my second post. It means that vista can't handle it when you install new hardware on you pc.
I wont go back to XP no matter what. People who have problems with Vista is obviously not computer illiterate. Even the smallest problem that could be solve with your right brain about 5 minutes goes to tell the worldwide public how worse it is.
Its funny, when they complain about drivers. So far, all the drivers already updated for Vista. Better yet, Vista helps us to upgrade our own machine, which I really appreciate it they do that since I really want to upgrade the performance and I dont think that's a bad move by Microsoft of what Linux fan boys told me.
Forgive me for any Linux users, I pity you.

1.vista eats your memory (RAM and storage)i experienced that in one of my friends comp.WHich took 700~ of ram while it was in idle
2.You don't totally own the software
you can't customise all as you want
3.Some people says vista got the best themes and look.But in linux you don't have to spent your precious RAM.(i formally had 128 and xp always got freezed.therefore i had to remove themes wallpapers and all of those enhancements,in linux i never had to bother on that)
4.Proven instablity in almost all windows O/S s/
so i think that bad vista foundation is notmisleading people
The microsoft only wants to get their income increased.
the earlier told comp. of my friend is a brand new intel dual with 1GB RAM 250GB HDD +card reader.So you can get yor point lost as you would say the comp may got poor performence,illegal copies or any other things :)
